Tell Me These Aren't Close! (pics)

Ok, without being a dick and searching around for the answer--can you all tell me if the SSR GT-1s are that much more noticeable???

By the way--These GT-1 "substitutes" are 18" around 20lbs and w/ Kuhmo 712's for $1500 --Thats a ton cheaper!

Construction and quality is what you pay for when you buy SSRs. Obviously, you are also paying for the name. At high speeds, no one will be able to tell the difference.

Have you seen all the crap they advertise in that mag? SCC doesn't care who advertises in there.

It all comes down to quality of contruction and the company's ability to back their products. A month after you buy them and the clearcoat starts peeling are they gonna warranty the wheel repairs?

I would have gotten cheap rims if i was concerned with the build. Also, what is the weight of the wheels?

I saw those too! They sorta resemble the GT3's... but the huge visual difference is in the lip

The lip on those wheels are very blocky... whereas on higher end rim manufacturers... the lip is is very rounded and slightly deeper.

But that's definitely a bang for the buck wheel.

Yeah, I'm pretty hesitant to purchase from them again...

They sold me the rims with the wrong size tires. I was rolling on 215/35/18's on my CLS and it looked hella ghetto. So I tried contacting them about changing the tires before they were even shipped... but their customer support (after they sale was made) was very poor and they refused to write another order for the appropriate tire size even after identifying to them that that tire size would not work for my needs.
