taking off rear emblims?

taking off rear emblims?
so i've had my car sense Jan2001? is it too late? and how do i take the back ACURA off, dental floss? do u guys think the paint will be faded a lot?

1) Boil some water and pour it down the trunk so that it flows over/under the emblem to be removed.
2) Use the dental flow to carefully remove the emblem.
3) Use "Goof-Off" or a product like that to remove the goo that is left over.
4) Wash with regular car soap to remove remaining gunk or stains.
5) Use bug/tar remover if the car soap doesn't completely remove the stains.
Note: Remember, the Acura symbol has mounting studs so you do not want to take that off unless you want two holes in the trunk.

this topic has been mentioned many times. there was another thread about this earlier (like a day ago?). i think chod needs to add this to the FAQ!

BTW Astro, if you pour some of this on the Porsche roof and then let the sun bake it for a day or two, it is really good for the paint...try it

Good ol Noxema Shaving cream does wonders to paint/finish, so does brake fluid.
