Sway bars

Any recommendations? I'm hoping to reduce understeer.

BEST affordable mod, then you HAVE to get new tires or your squeal like a pig ! Some say the headers, but I think NOT, these cars have too much sway (understeer and oversteer). Once I got the front and rear sways, like a new car ! New rubber is a MUST ! :P

Get them. My favorite mod. Well worth the cost.
DRAMACTICALLY reduces understeer, IMO.
I agree that the understeer in the stock CL sucks. Makes it harder to drive the car aggressively.
GO with Comptech, which I have. I love them. Someone else makes them too which I hear are good, but I forgot who.

I just got my Comptech sways installed today. I haven't had a change to push it yet, but with all the hype I've read around here, I sure am *thinking* that they feel a little different... Still got the stock rubber, though... :P

Comptech's swaybars should have come standard on the CLS.

My advise? If you want sways/springs/shocks, you bought the wrong damn car! Enjoy it for what it is and don't f--k it up. If you want a toy check out a Subaru WRX, Honda 2000 or Audi TT.

That's foolish advice. I bought the CL-S because of it's kicks ass look and performance. But the handling kind of blows. Comptech sway bars made a huge difference, and ditching those useless Michelins for the Dunlop SP Sport 5000's made even more difference. If I want to take a 30 MPH corner doing 50, they I can. Why should I suffer with massive understeer (just because some engineer in Acura thought they'd like to protect me from driving like that? If they didn't want people to drive it like a performance car, then don't give them the power and the 6 speed....

My 2 cents....
