Supercharger Install
Supercharger Install
Well as some of you may or may not know I was lucky enough to get hold of SIRSIG's comptech supercharger. Was missing a few parts but nothing too major. Elbow piece, fuel pump, 51R battery, and coolant reservoir. Ran into some trouble during the install tho. First off...elbow piece seems a bit off. It's the Accord V6 SC Kit elbow piece which is supposed to be compatible with the CL-P (my understanding). We're also installing the OE Thermoblok spacers and they seem to throw off the connection between the elbow piece and the supercharger inlet even more. Any ideas?
Second, I don't have a copy of the ESM installation. Easy install? I guess it's just a matter of connecting the 3 wires, but where the hell are the wires they need to connect to? Called CT but no answer. Which is weird because just yesterday I talked to Ryan to order the elbow piece. Anyhow. Any advice with either or both of these problems would be greatly appreciated :-)

Here are the install guides for the Accord kit and ESM if you don't already have them.

When I had the Thermoblok spacer installed on mine, it was a pain in the ass getting the blower and elbow to line up but I was able to do it. I eventually removed the spacer because I suspected it leaking and all lined right back up fine.
The ESM cuts into the harness for the ECU. Make sure you solder the connections so you get good connections. If you've got a factory service manual, you can confirm the pins on the ECU.

uhm Erik, i included the coolant reservoir remember, the plastic bottle piece?
anyway, like allout said, the thermoblock will lift the intake manifold and can also hit the hood beside being off on the air intake.
that pdf file has all the info you'll need and like i said a first time SC installer will take a day to figure things out.
Don't forget to install B&M tranny cooler tho... good luck and enjoy your ride

you mentioned that you'll be running your car with stock FPR, don't gun your car while you're at that... just be careful on running your car with stock FPR because that might create a problem in the future...
represent the CL-P. and what kinda of numbers are you hoping for...i didn't think it was much for a CL-P, but that is just compared to the S and S6...should be great gains tho! let us know if it is worth it, i have some extra money im looking to spend...

krisdlm: read above.
allout: don't jinx it! i'm probably just gonna run the 6lbs. pulley and get the tune and call it a day. does that 9 lbs. pulley absolutely need an IC or what?
