It seems that no one still can get a hold of Comptech, not even there vendors, what the hell are they doing?
BUT they changed there homepage some to show the NSX engine program and some other stuff, why wouldn't they at least put something up on there to say when to call or what to expect??
I don't get it....
Good Luck with the Charger

Thanks man,
It seems that no one is able to get old "stock" parts that they used to carry. I think that they pretty much cleared their shelves when they announced the closure and all they are willing to do know if the engine work, and the 06 civic si stuff which were the last products they released before the closure. It is possible that they do not have any "stock" of the parts they used to carry and do not want to release any dates until it is available.. BUT that is just a guess, it does make sense though
thanks

Made the phone call today. Hold off for a few weeks. They're having some technical difficulties regarding their website and other business related aspects. Comptech USA will be in full swing soon. Comptech Machine is fully operational now. The bugs will be worked out soon,

3500 for a used SC with 40-50K miles is WAY too much...I think its worth no more than $2500. You cant get an accord kit, bc you will have to buy a new elbow that goes to the IM--this will hold you up either way until you can pick one up from CT, unless you can find someone who has one. Also, the HBP is an absolute neccesity IMO--I am also boosted and once I swapped the pulley I really felt what the SC was all about. I still have not gotten even 1 CEL or anything and the car drives fine. I installed the SC at about 103,000 miles with no problems whatsoever..If you aellent on the LBP, I have one I would sell--but believe me you want the HBP; it doesnt effect drivability at all. Jae also installed my SC and it whines perfectly!!!

Uh... yep
Anyways... that's all I can say. Comptech USA is not back up and running just yet. Like I said, some technical difficulties regarding their website and other business related items need to be worked out.
It's stupid they aren't answering calls or even returning messages. Someone over there needs to make some sort of public announcement otherwise they're just shooting themselves in the foot.

I'm still negotiating the SC with someone right now, taking my time, making sure its fine. I already have the headers and Ice-box intake, so i just need the SC kit itself with all the stuff that comes with it. Gonna keep it at LBP right now and see how it feels, any additional power will be welcome, but who knows. my main thing is I don't want to cause any problems with the car.

Christ all they have to say is, yes we are back open and our engine shop is up an running, Please be patient for our performace parts we will be back in stock soon. Is that so damn hard? Even if the phone goes to voicemail and says that everyone would be cool, but no.... no one answers no one returns voicemails, or emails.
That is one hell of a business model, buy a strugling company with a bad ass history and then make all of your cusomers and vendors sit around with there thumbs up there asses and give them no information whatsoever of the direction that the new owners are taking.
Please Comptech do a DAMN press release and tell everyone something, when consumers get frustrated waiting for manufacturers they find other sources to buy from and dont look back.
Also, Comptech does not warranty parts to second owners......
So i would be very careful on buying used $4500 parts regardless of condition

You're about 1/2 correct with your statements in that post.

OMG, I had a friend give a little throttle while I was underhood, and guess what, MY IMRC actuator valve doesn't work./ I knew somethign was causing me to crave more power. Now I'm trying to figure out if it's been that way for a while or just recently. I can't even wait to schedule an appointment, just gonna buy one and put it in myself. Damn, I can't believe it, same thing happoened on my older 01 CL-S.

NO shit,
My car seems way underpowered as of late too, is this something that a dealer would catch when going in for service? It does not make a check engine code up or anyting else?
Supposedly now late July for Comptech parts, but no vendors can get a hold of them still..

i called one of the vendors in California that is supposed to be down the street from comptech and he said they would be taking orders on Monday the 9 but then a week or two ago he said he was taking orders on parts last Wednesday so we will see. And im sorry to say but he did say that comptech was most likely going to stop production at least for while on the car that parts did not move and i asked him which ones and he said he was sure about the integra model older civics and probably accords and 2nd gen CL/Tl but he said he will know more on Monday

They didn't go out of business. Comptech USA and Comptech Machine were sold because the investors wanted to cash out. Nothing to do with sales.
They have always had great customer support; they just aren't operating right now while they transition into their new facility and work out other technical and business related aspects of the deal. Even though Comptech USA has the same name, products, equipment, and even most employees it is effectively treated as a new business in a legal sense and thus there are some obstacles to navigate prior to opening up shop.

It is just not cool of them to have all of their vendors post messages that "Comptech is closing their doors, and no warranty will be offered on any of their products" you have to assume that this means they are out of business. Also, no one was able to contact them for i don't even know how long. I appreciate the info and it is good news, I would have like Comptech or the new Comptech or whatever at least say something to avoid confusion and frustration to all of their vendors and customers
thanks for the info

Well at first they were going out of business. One investor wanted out while the other didn't but didn't have the cash to buy out the other investor. So they were closing up shop with no promise of opening up. Or at least they didn't want to go in to further detail and give specific details and then have something change.
It's better to say "We're done" and then surprise everyone and say "we're back."

well, back on the subject, I got my car back with the new IMRC valve, spent 2 hours explaining and told them I would pay for the parts and labor if the new one didn't open past 4k rpms. Told them to check the voltage and fuse, and they even compared the valve behavior on the MDX. Like pulling teeth, since theyr scanner didn't show any codes and no check engine light. Anyway, now its time to get that blower in there, maybe 2 more weeks till i'm boosted, can't wait.

Yeah definitely get that fixed since you want to see how much NA power you have in order to make a educated decision on whether or not you want to boost or 3.5 your car. As an example of this SIRSIG did not have his working and just put the SC back on, not being happy with his NA power, just some food for thought.

Allmine, thATs the one, I got it. Jae at the Lab and I are going to install, and where is E-shift? address, i want to dyno before and after to make sure everything is working properlly.

I called E-shift about the dyno and possibly an install (just wondering about their pricing), they told me I have to send Comptech my ecu and key to have my ecu reflashed as part of the install. Anybody know anything about this? I've never seen this before. Don't want this to put a monkey wrench info the whole install.

Clearly E-Shift has never installed a kit before. There's no reflash required or even possible.

You can still go back to stock from that configuration of you decide to part out.

thanks MrSteve, I was getting worried. I never heard of this and they said that you have to have Hondata reflash or soemthing, that it was in the instructuctions, blah blah blah. I think i'm goign to drive up there to get the dyno. anybody know of any closer places, that aren't 60 miles away.
