Sudden Breaking

Hello Guys,

I have a little question and a concern!!! I am driving down 495 about 60mpg and I feel a little shake in the body while breaking. I mean its not the entire body shaking as if something going to break down. So, i come home and jack it up to see if the tires are loose or anything but everything seems normal. Suggest!!!!

Sounds Like a common case of warped rotors. My suggestion would be to get better aftermarket rotors and pads and make sure you bed them in correctly. I got mine from the sponsored sales group buy section from brakemotive. I've got about 10000 miles on mine with no problems and for 145$ you cant beat it.

Warped rotors. May be time to get them turned. They may not be so warped that you notice at 35mph and under but when the wheels are rotating very fast at 60mph+, it most def will get noticed.

I agree however when I would get mine turned it would only last a few thousand miles before it started again

warped rotors.. do not get them machined.. you are just making the rotor thinner which is even worse at taking the heat.. i did it the first time and never again... just buy new rotors...

Get new rotors. If the steering wheel is shaking then replace the fronts, this is the most common. If the whole car is shaking, replace the rears.
