Strange noise thread #3

In the tradition of strange noise threads .... i would like to share mine!!

I am going to the dealer in an hour because everytime i turn the wheel there is a squeeking/ rubbing sound coming from somewhere. In addition, i noticed that when i get out of the car this is a squeek also. i am assuming that they are related. Any ideas?

on a side note, my girlfreind pointed out that i seem to spend a lot of time getting something or the other fixed on this car. I realized that she is right. That is frickin' annoying as hell. Last month one of my back tires was out of alignment for absolutely no reason. They said it was not my fault (i got it that way) and it took 3 trips and persistence on my part for them to A)admit that something was wrong b) for them to actually figure out they have to fix it c) fix it. It was annoying as hell. And to make matters worse I have one tire that is worn on the inside....and they wont replace it even thought it is not my fault.

phew

the moral of the story: Their havent been that many problems but it takes forever to get them fixed. maybe i need to find another place to get serviced?

I just got back from the dealer and they said that the squeek was coming from my springs and a loose strut tower.

What i wanna know is....how the hell does a strut tower cum loose...especially if you never beat on the car and havent hit any potholes.

ahhhh.....and the kicker....the kicker is I paid 100 dollars for a frickin oil change. I think it might be time to find a new service place.
