!Starting problem!
Alright guys, so I've been having this problem happen to me at least once a week for the past 3 weeks, sometimes it doesn't even happen in a month, but it has been more and more frequent lately...
I attempt to start the car...it comes to a sputtering start then it struggles to stay on and the car quivers like it doesnt have enough power to stay on...a few times it would just cut off altogether...what i do is give it some gas and it stays on then i get it in gear and get going then i dont have the problem for the rest of the drive...what the hell is going on here? my battery is only 3-4 months old...my car has 77k miles on it...tranny was replaced back in september by the dealer....sigh...this is really weird

Mine has done this a couple times, usually only when it's really cold. One time I had started it without a prob, driven it a block down the road and stopped at a light and whataya know, she just shuts off. Started up again no problem. Do you notice any problems during normal driving? I don't...

Check for carbon build-up... Also consider using a fuel system cleaner in one tank of premium fuel gas.
In addition, get your battery tested to be on the safe side.

you think i should seafoam it? the guy at advance auto parts told me to wait till im almost empty on gas, then to empty a whole can of seafoam in the tank then fill up?... is this the right way to do it?

Two other possible culprits are IAT (Intake Air Temperature) sensor and the O2 (primary most likely) sensor. Could maybe be the Cam Position Sensor but you'd probably have reduced power throughout the rev range. Any codes?

Seafoam is usually added through a vacuum line. I haven't heard of it added to a gas tank before.
As a cleaning additive/fuel additive I use BG44k, and it works great.
