i thought the only reason Honda put that on the S2K was becdause it's considered a "thouroughbred" race car....i think you'd be better off putting your money into other mods....

i could get the button for less than $50. after that, all you need is some rewiring and to install the button. installling shouldn't be that big of a mess. i just need a place to put it.

that sounds cheap...i would guess that you would have problems with the dealer for warranty work (depending on proble)....i really don't know...it would be a unique mod on the car, and prolly look hot....personally i wouldn't do it, but if you are, might as well put it where the s2k has it, on the left side of the steering wheel, i'm not sure exacty...but good luck with it....

Right side of the steering wheel. Correct me if I am wrong. But u still need to put the key in the ignition. Soooo; 1) key in the ignition, 2) finger on start button. Easy and quick.

Normally, you need the key to allow "turn-off" the anti-theft system... (but, you never know what someone could come up with)

Not next to but near the key hole. How bout to the right and below the hazard button, or to the left of the hazard button. But close so that once u put the key in and turn its just a simple close movement to start the car.

Actually this is a neat idea...stealth and shit. I was thinking of one too, but I didn't want to put one on yet because afraid dealer might give me some problems...also afraid insurance might say something if your car gets stolen. But I was thinking like putting the button in between the heated seat buttons hidden. But then again, if you wanted to show off, you can put it where your fog light button is...but then again...you have foglights...I dunno Gabe...tough choice.

If you wan to conceal it swap out the cigarett lighter, you still have one u can wire through the cupholder, but in the center console the flap covers the cig lighter. Put it there it would tight to open the flap and press the button.

I don't see the point of having a start button if you want to hide it. They only reason to have one is cause it looks cool.....unless you're doing it as a theft deterent, but I don't think that was the reason.

It would make the car kinda James Bondish . Trip people out you know...stick the key and mess with people..."OH shit...my car won't start!" and then when they start looking worried...hit the button.

uhhhhh no. main reason for me wanting to do it is purely cosmetic. ppl look inside and see an "engine start" button, that's sick

i was going to do this a long ass time ago :P

it crossed my mind again just a few weeks ago. i would be taking out the power adapter thing that is right next to the fake ash tray and putting it in that round hole then the little door closes and it's all stealthy.

i'll order mine tomorrow since they are only $30 from my buddy. i'll try to do my install on it within the next week or two

what would be a cool mod to do is

put keys in the ignition

turn one click and that locks all the doors.

Put the seat belt on and as soon as it snaps the car starts

this would be a good way to get people like me to wear a seatbelt all the time
