Anybody know if ssautochrome is putting out headers again for our rides. I went to the site,and under honda there showing a set for 98-02 accord and acura v6's.but there 393 shipped.Thats almost 4x what they cost before.Am I tripping?????http://ssautochrome.com/level.itml/icOid/1424

no. they dont fit. the ones that fit are the ones that are out of stock

98-02 accord V6 fits 01-03 CL 5AT

 

I dont see why they would'nt fit. all the headers I've seen that bolt up to 98-02 v6 accords will also bolt to our motors.the ad also says acura v6? have you already asked them?

 

ssautochrome headers are the same as the XS headers that members have been using for years, so they should fit all CL's. the only difference in auto and MT CL headers is the bend in the front piece.

 

I was just trying to figure out why they cost so much now.If theres been any upgrades to pipe,welds,colectors,etc.because they look the same,thats for sure.

 

Its just known. If its for a 98-02 accord V6 then it will fit a 5AT 2nd gen CL. It wont fit the 5AT if they are made for the 6MT

they've been out of stock for a while on these...i was fortunate enough to get a set recently from someone who parted out their ride before they traded in...will most likely install mine & then use them for a while until i pay off the comptechs that im making payments on...LOL

 

I imagine, if they are out of stock, they arent gonna make any more... why make parts for disc/ cars???

Thats odd that the op of that thread said they were out of stock in july. I got mine in september. I guess I was one of the lucky few who go the last batch?
