XS Update

So I emailed XS the other day (because they don't have a phone number) and this is what i got. I copyed and pasted directly from my email:

"Why are your TL/Accord V6 headers STILL out of stock? I was told 45 days
back in July. Can someone fill me in as to whats going on?"

And this is what I got..

"the manufacture is changing locations in which there is a delay of making them, we probably wont see them for months from now. Thanks"

I won't hold my breath. I'm better off anticipating waiting for someone to come up with their own headers.

hmm, sounds shady to me...45, 90, 120 days...yeah yeah yeah. I am actually thinking about getting headers now and on the hunt for some good quality headers. thanks for the update, their prices for our car was just ridiculously good

Actually, I had the REAL first batch of DC's when they first came out. Yeah the old two bolt flange. Those "ceramic coated" headers after 1 winter, were completely rusted and cracked in multiple spots, not to mention unbelievable resonance, very bad experience with the headers and DC customer service. Although I haven't heard much bad about the 3 bolt design, I would still get them coated by Jet Hot or HPC like I got my XS headers done. If you get it coated by them they warranty the coating unlike DC. Plus I have gone through two winters now with the HPC coated XS headers and they look as new as day 1.

i also to the two bolt flange and to no problems. i see rust on teh down pipe where it keeps hitting but thats bc the coating is off. other than that bought them used with 15k on them and ive put about 5k on them and no cracks/ resonance. this is my second winter with these and dont know about the previous owner.

Actually this is when AEM owned DC Sports. DC Sports was sold over a year ago and we're just waiting for the new DC to start stocking everything.

Actually the price went down a little. If you look on our webstore you'll notice the header sells for less now.

yeaaa thats what i was figuring... was hoping it was 2.5 cause im lookignfor a high flow cat that will bolt up to my ATLP catback which has 2.5" piping.... i jus dont want a RT Cat cause it has small inlet /outlet sizes and will pretty much jus bottleneck the exhaust flow...
