Alta only deals in subaru performance now. they don't even want honda related business, so scratch that idea. btw, craigy, they're not even in aloha any more, they're over by washington square

speed concept has alot o stuff in stock and good prices i think. i've heard some people say they are shady but i've never bought anything there so i dunno.

what kind of stuff are you looking for?

I was looking for an Injen CAI. Plus a shop to do install of springs, sways, and Header. Ron Tonkin and Acura of Portland will do all and order parts but at a very high price. They both say with these mods (Comptech) my warranty will stay intact. But $425. to install springs seems high. I stopped by Speed Concept they sell Ingen for $200 installed. But guys standing out front told me I would be stupid to let them touch my car. They said Zero Effects on Glisen was the place to go. Have you heard of them?

$425 is way too high for the spring install. Alta installed my last set for $100. you may want to call them and see if they can still get comptech stuff. i know they have already installed CT springs and headers on a few cl/tl-s, including mine.

the place on glisan is called ground zero motorsports 503-255-6485 www.groundzeromotorsports.com i have never been to their shop so i don't know much about them.

i hear they have a dyno though

Ground Zero did a CT spring install for me for $150. A nice kid named Brian did the work. One month later....so far so good.

Alta has good prices, but I wouldn't let them do any installs. Well, I wouldn't let any shop do an install, but that's just me. I bought my Injen CAI and wheels from Speed Concept. You can sit there and BS with the owner and get a better price. I bought my Tein's from Alta. They'll still hook people up on parts. 97124 has his installed by Alta.
