SolarGaurd or FormulaOne Tint?

Does nayone have any background on which film to use? I been leaning more toward the solargaurd products, but I called a few shops here in NC and many of them keep trying to push the FormulaOne products. I'm looking for some feedback...

Thanks.

I had the formula one tint on my old integra. Definitely made a difference for keeping the car cooler. After about 4 years, I noticed a small bubble in the back window and I just called for an authorized dealer and they retinted the back window for no charge. I am not sure about the other company.

tint

they are charging like anywhere from 179 (really cheap one) to like $269 for (the higher end one). The damn tintling law in NC sux its only 35% all around and you cant pass your inspection if its higher...ugh!!!

I did a lot of research before I got mine tinted as well. I wanted to use the best film and wanted to make sure the tint guy tinted all the way to the top of the window. I didn't want the ugly gap at the top of the window. I got the 35% Llumar tint. From what I hear, Llumar makes some of the best window tint.

I used Solar Guard on all of my cars. Check my link below. Not only does my installer bring it all the way to the top of the window, but makes sure to bring it all the way down by removing doorpanels and the interior rear deck. They also use a sealed A/C garage to prevent any moisture or dust collecting under the film. My installer is by far the best I have ever seen. Compared to my friend's cars, you can see the difference in quality just by the installation itself, and we all have the same film.

Moral: your tint will only be as good as how it is installed. period
