Is it just me or do people that ask for radio codes not sound credible?
I mean come on. Purchase car, start up, turn on radio....Oops, asking for code. Ask owner/dealer...drive off..
What's the problem.
Is there something you're not telling us?:thief:

well, when i bought it it was fine then i had my battery disconnected and needed to find out, i called and they said to come in and pay $100 for them to take out and find out. thats bullshit, so, i called a different place and she told me to look at those two places and i find it
I was in a similar situation. I purchased my car from a nissan dealership and they said they would fix the radio for me by the time I picked up the car. Guess what, they didn't.
They made it sound so hard, they said they tried calling different acura dealers for hours. So I drove off with a dead radio, but they said that they would cover the cost for me to fix on my own. That is the only way they were going to get me to take the car off of the lot without a functioning radio.
Guess what? Next day, I called the original dealer wehere the car was first sold, gave them the VIN, they gave me the code. No problem. Took all of 5 minutes.
This guy may be in the same situation as I was. And I aint no theif

Here's the text from the service bulletin that explains how to get the radios serial number without taking it out. You should be able to give this number to the dealer and they pull the code out of the computer system. Free or they suck donkey balls.
RETRIEVING THE AUDIO UNIT SERIAL NUMBER
To reduce warranty and customer costs whenever an
anti-theft code is lost, the audio unit’s serial number
can be retrieved without having to remove the unit. To
recall the serial number, follow these steps:
1. Turn the ignition switch to the accessory (I)
position.
2. Turn on the audio unit. Make sure “CODE” appears
on the display.
3. Turn off the audio unit.
4. Press and hold the number 1 and number 6 preset
buttons at the same time, and then turn on the unit.
The serial number will appear in two parts – the first
four digits followed by the last four digits, and then
the sequence will repeat.
5. Enter these eight digits into DCS to retrieve the
antitheft code.
NOTE: If you happen to compare the serial number
on the audio system’s chassis sticker to the
displayed serial number, you will find the first two
digits do not match. The serial number on the
sticker begins with two alpha characters. When
doing an inquiry on DCS, always use “30” followed
by the six-digit serial number.
