Here's the facts: The GTP is close to an auto CLS stock for stock. 6 speed CLS has an advantage. The GTP is easier to mod and has been around much longer, so you are able to go faster.

BTW...in the video where the GTP is on the right....You were getting pulled. Dont believe me look at you mirror compared to his cornering light. At around 12 seconds he was inching up on you and then let off.

 

He inched up on me, then he inched back and sat for a good 3-4 secs then he hit the brakes. Thats obvious

Also the person who is videoing has his own video cam, real one and has the software to do it right.

 

Ok so we agree that he inched up on you. He ended up about 2 inches in front of the spot where he hit it from....relative to your car. How do you classify that as a win???? I would call it a TIE and if you want to get picky he beat you by inches.

 

He inched up, then he moved a good foot back after I got in my power band and he never moved. Well I tried to call it a tie but still the owner of the GTP and his friend say they won when they didn't.

Manipulating the thread from it's original contents isn't always the best avenue of recourse. In some cases people's responses to the original comments will be out of context. Sure, I won't sit here and try to tell you that some people weren't out of line. I have seen guilty parties on both sides of the fence. An arguement or debate however you want to label it consists of two sides. Let the two sides be heard; whatever they may be. Changing and deleting will only confuse matters more on a subject that two sides are already having a hard time listening to.

 

nobody is saying that both side shouldnt be heard...that is encouraged! just saying to do it like adults and not kids argueing in the school yard.

I just see a slight contradiction there.

When information is given, it comes in two forms. Fact and opinion. It's up to the individual to decide what is useful and retain it. The rest is discarded. I don't think anyone needs someone deciding what is useful for them. referring to deletions and edits I wouldn't want someone to edit what they felt was useful, from the original version of a movie before I went to see it. The same could be said for any book I was reading. In short, just leave things alone and have confidence in the users of this board to retain what is useful and they'll discard the rest. Otherwise both sides aren't being heard. IMHO
