silly string damage?

well its halloween, so my car and several others in the neighborhood got hit with it

In the pouring rain, I hosed it off as best as I could in the dark night.

It couldnt have been on there that long, so its not like the sun dried it, because it was all night time.

what you think?

good question. w/o seeing it, if it was raining and the car was wet it would seem to me that it did not "stick" very well to the paint.if the car was dry and it had sat on the paint for a few hours the chemicals or the acetone from the string may eat part of the paint. and you will def see it on aegean blue so u will know.

i know i would be hella pissed

i just had this happen last week, although it was a bunch of friends and i that were silly-string fighting.

it will dry and stick, but it will flake off if you rub it. there's no damage to paint, but i have several layers of zaino on it.

this is the exact reason i covereed my car and my wife's new Miata with some ghetto looking bedspreads and plastic tarp last night...even though i have a driveway - eggs will permantly stain the paint as well as some of the shaving creams.
