Dodge Ram SRT10 sighting in Austin, TX

I saw this big beefy Dodge Ram SRT10 yesterday on the freeway here in Austin (I35). It had a more agressive looking hood and was riding on wheels that looked to be at least 20s if not 22s... It had this gay looking spoiler on the rear of the trunk which I dind't like but if that thing is what I've herad it is then the redneck part of me is in love. It's so freakin' monstrous!!!

I dind't know this car was out yet. We were in bumper to bumper traffic so I couldn't see it perform. Was I seeing things or is this monster out?

I didn't think it was out yet either. Dodge said late 2003.

1/4 mile in 13.8 @ 106. Thats a fast truck.

Dealers that do not regularly sell and service Vipers will not be eligible to order the Ram SRT-10 unless they spend the money to send mechanics to Viper school and invest in over $5,000.00 in tools to properly service the V10 engine.

Yea I don't think you saw an SRT-10. Probably someone tried to make there ram look like one. Also the SRT-10 is going to ride on 24" rims. But they haven't even started taking orders from the public on this truck

no... I saw it... now that I look at pictures of what it is then I know I saw it... it had the same hood, the emblem, front bumper... everything... it was in silver..

I should have grabbed my digicam in my glove box. It even had that ugly spoiler on the rear of the tailgate.

It had paper plates on it.

I'm sure of it now...

they're proly not that long... if you make the gearbox really close then the extension can be longer...

Anyone see the lightning concept? I saw the lightning concept, and that SRT10 in person at the New York Auto Show in April .. I'd take a lightning over that Dodge any day 500hp supercharged, and the SuperCool system that dumps a tank full of ice cold air from the A\C system into the supercharger for extra power .. they say its like having a 50 shot.

negative. $36,000-$38,000 I sold them at a Central Ford here in Houston awhile back. SOME dealers might mark them up to 45g's
