Signal Mirrors for the CL/TL

Hey all. I came across this site: http://www.muthco.com/products/smtechnology.htm the other day. They make signal mirrors for thousands of cars. The cool thing about these mirrors is that they replace the stock mirror, but that's it. So features like our heated mirrors or auto tilt down in reverse would not be lost. I checked their site and they do not offer an application for the CL/TL. I then found a link that said to suggest a car... so I did.. but got an email back saying there was no demand.

So.. if you're interested in something like this... feel free to go to the site and recommend they make a kit for the CL/TL.

Go here to request a vehicle: http://www.muthco.com/products/carsandtrucks.htm

Just thought you guys may find this interesting.....

I'll put in a request. I want some signal mirrors.

They won't make them for a discontinued car though.

looks like the wide angle retrofit is our only option.

Right now yes, however, they said that if there was enough demand they'd look into making the real kit. Personally I wouldn't put the wide angle thing on my car... I'd want the actual mirror replacement kit.

o, i thought they were going to look like the Benz's signal lights on the body-colored frame, not the glass

this reminds me too much of what Ford's got

I really would like to find a low profile replacement side mirror for our '01 CL-S. There's a big blind spot behind the mirror becuz of its height and the thick A pillar. Would give up heating and tilting for one. Please post if anybody knows of one. '02 is lower but doesn't look like it will fit cuz different mounting size and shape.

We, Acura-tl.com did this a while back. A ton of people submitted their response and we have heard nothing.

I do believe the V6 Accord sedan mirrors will fit the 99 TL but that's about it. And you'll lose the heated mirror function.

Actually, not true... they have a heated mirror version, and a non-heated mirror version... so you wouldn't lose any of the functionality you have now.

I was referring to the Accord coupe mirrors. They do not offer them in a heated version. Either that or I'm too stupid to find them on their site.
