Should I replace this K&N
I cleaned my air filter today at its kind of beat up.
It is also still black after using the K&N cleaning kit.
I reoiled already in the pics below. The piece that is banged up is closed by the filter cotton smushed together, so i don't think anything is going in it.
When i changed my bypass valve for the intake, the pipe inlet was nice and clean so i think its doing its job.
Should I just replace it? What do you think? $38 shipped on amazon.

It still looks good, I just cleaned mine for the first time in 140k miles and it was dirty as hell.
I first let it soak in soapy water for like 1 hour then i sprayed the K@N cleaner on it let it sit for a few minutes and then pressure washed it from the inside and outside. then i sprayed it with the oil (the oil was red) and now it works like brand new.
My K@N filter is alot bigger then yours!
this is B4 i started washing it!

if my filter were that long it would almost be dragging on the floor!
btw K&N recommends not using high pressure.
just spray with K&N cleaner, let sit for 10 mins, rinse from inside out with low pressure, let dry, and re-oil.
AND try cleaning it every 30k miles! although i am sure its fine even after over 100k....
i don't know what happened to the filter, i bought my car with 30k miles on it and it was like that when i cleaned it the first time.
now i have 60k, so this is only my second time cleaning it.
