Shops in San Francisco to install S/C

I need a place the s/c and the first place I went to was recommended by a friend, but so much for a hookup, the guy said around $2,000 The guy has done s/c jobs before and thats why i went to him, but he doesn't seem to know much about the comptech even though its pretty much bolt on. Anyways, I went to a local shop in frisco called Mach 3, and I know they do good work. He's trying to charge me around $700, but I dunno if that's a good deal? Sure better than 2 grand, thats for sure! And the guys has done Comptech s/c install before so its even better, but does anyone know any shops in sf or around that do s/c installs?

One of those sport compact modification guides at advance autoparts has a decently detailed comptech supercharger instructions on a CLS, if you want to attempt a DIY.

I'd consider taking it to Mach III, they are known throughout the bay and have a very good reputation, 700 is really cheap and you know if they mess something up they will fix it or their rep goes down the shitter.

Damn the install really isn't that hard. Only thing you really need to be conserned with is properly adjusting the FPR and installing/adjusting the ESM.

I paid $800 to have the S/C installed on my CLS-6 back in 2005. They put the S/C kit and the UR SC Crank pulley; power steering pulley with new belt; guage pod install with fuel pressure and vacuum gauge wiring.

Seven hundred sounds reasonable for Cali.

I had mine installed by Sterling Acura in Austin TX and I was charged $720.00. The price you are being quoted is not bad.
