I took off the stock shift knob today and realized that there is a hook at the bottom of the stock knob to hold the leather boot from slipping down.. The shift knob I am planning to buy probably do not have any hook. What do you guys use or do to prevent leather boot from slipping? Thanks guys.

 

I have the RSX Type-S shift knob and its an exact fit to the boot and an exact match to the titanium trim (thanks Ant )

 

does it have the six speed engraving? I found a lot of Type-R knob on ebay, but those have 5 speed engraving.. I definitely do not want ppl to shift it to sixth and thinking they have it on reverse..

Does the RSX Type-S knob look like the DC one? do you have a picture of it?

 

I don't know about the one you want, but I have a momo knob. When I purchased it, I also got the boot that went along with it and switched both out.

 

I got another RSX-S 6 speed shift knob for sale...pm me if intrested!!
