Service Engine Light after WOT

This has happened to me twice last week, Monday when I was getting on the turnpike to go to work and on Wednesday when I was getting on the turnpike to go home. Both times I get on it from 2nd through 3rd just to get on the turnpike without getting run off the road and once I'm cruising I notice the service engine light blinking (maybe 10 times or so). I really don't run my car hard so I'm wondering if by me stepping on it all the deposits in the engine hit one of my o2 sensors causing it to send a signal??? Sounds good to me but I would like to know what everyone else has to say. Also I don't think it's the transmission because I have had no signs of failure YET. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Used to happen to me after I installed my UR underdrive crank pulley. Pulled the codes and they were misfires. Dunno about your case though. See if you can get the code or have a scanner on the car & try and reproduce what happened.

NORMAL.
This happens when you gas hard & loose traction while continuing to gas. The ECU thinks it's a misfire since the wheels hop & throws the flashing CEL.

interesting, i did not know this.
This happened to me when i went WOT with a bad gas or lower octane gas mixture. I just reset the ECU and cleared the code bck then and i was good.

This was normal even though there was no wheel hop and the car was still steadily gaining speed as it should have? I didn't even come close to redlining either. I've gotten on it before (when I put my CAI on) and never had the light flash at me. Fuzzy is this something you come across often?
Another thing I forgot to mention is both times this has happened the car has been running for maybe 10 minutes so the engine was still fairly cold. Does that make a difference.

Its normal. I get the flashing CEL when I break the tires loose and start hopping a bit. It thinks there is a random misfire.

I can do it at will. It's worse when the road is slick. As long as the light doesn't stay on, your ok.

i've never seen it happen on my car in the winter when i slip a bit, but usually in the summer when there's partial traction and the wheels do hop.

The flashing Cel light indicates misfire that is damaging your TWC. You should stop by autozone have have them pull the codes for you.

Dont WOT your car while its cold. Its not good for the tranny or your engine. Wait a few more minutes when its closer to normal operating temp.
