Seat memory

I had my seats programmed and it got deleted. Now I can't seem to re-program it. I'm following the directions in the book, but it won't work.
Any ideas?

push the lil green button when you have your seats where you want then hit 1 or 2

put ur seat in ur position you want....

1. press the red button
2. press a #

same thing happened to me..also i cant set my garage thing..

set your seat and mirror ---your ignition switch must be on the ON position (engine not running)---press button and then select either flashing light on 1 or 2.
