Obviously, check all your fuses. Make sure the connection under your seat is plugged in. And, if worse comes to worse, you may have to pull your seat and open it up to verify that all your connections are good on it. If they are, try a direct line from the battery to the positivte wire on the plug, and ground it, just temporarily to determine what the problem is. The thing with troubleshooting electronics is using the process of elimination, and trying one thing at a time.
Good luck.

Or...you can go to the dealer and take advantage of your warranty...common failure...we do a good amount of seat heater pads.

Driver's backrest doesn't have a heating element. Only the butts on both seats and the back on the passenger's seat.

You got it backwards. It's the back of the passenger's seat that doesn't have heat.

The driver has both bottom and back heating elements. RTFM

Just brought the the car into the dealer for the same problem, No heat on the back, Turns out to be the heating element. Dealer had to order the part.
