SC/IC dyno #

here it is boys and girl, what everyone has been asking for.

acouple things to remember:

- dynoed w/ everything in sig
- temp was 90 degree (in facility) and 94 degree (outside)
- intercooler fluid was really warm due to weather which didn't help the cause
- boost hit 8.8 psi from 5000 rpm to redline
- A/F was good between 12.0 and 11.0, no pinging was heard
- timing was unchanged

at first i was really disappointed because of the low number's, but then i remembered red rider's thread about how he lost around 20 whp in the same temp as my run today.

so i did a test to see if it was true. i ran the car on the dyno every couple of minutes and sure enough my whp just kepted coming down. i lost 10 whp with just 3 runs back to back.

i believe if the temp was lower i would be able to get at least 330whp on stock exhaust . in conclusion are car is really sensitive to temp change.

over 300 whp is nothing to be ashamed of. i cant believe you couldnt pull a better time at the track. the heat does kill our power alot, but i really think those 19's are hurting more than anything else.

Not too shabby.

God my CL-S is just a freak on boost. I'm convinced now. I made 295/243 without the intercooler. Before the boost my numbers were dead on for a N/A car.

i was by my own 19's. got lots of compliments though.

i think i have the fastest time running on 19's.

next time i'm going to prep the car correctly with ice in the reservior and on the engine during cool down. plus run on stock tires.
