Saw a Gallardo today

I was at the tint shop removing my front tint (damn CHP) - anyways, there was a black Gallardo (for those who don't know, its the new baby Lamborghini). It looked VERY sweet. Unfortunateley it was driven by two real fat, although very young looking guys. I don't mean to be judgemental, but looks like they won the lottery or something!

Anyways... the car is beautiful - me want!

I used to like Ferrari and Porsche more than Lamborghini, but this one impressed me when I saw it in the auto show. It looks very compact, unlike its big brother-Murcielago, which seems too long to me. The regular doors and the availability of the navigation system plus the much lower retail price make it more friendly and more like a daily commuter.

Would that make them Ga-Lard-Asses? Gallardo almost sounds like a derrogatory name for fat people. "Jeez did you see that fuckin' gallardo over there?"

Let me re-phrase that... two rather 'large' individuals!

It definateley looked shorter than my NSX... probably a slightly lower roof-line and definately wider - it looked great in my opinion. If I have an extra $160K, I'd get it!

I watched a Gallardo do a high-speed run on some highway in Germany (not sure if it was the autobahn or not) today on the new Mischief Invasion DVD. The DVD's not out yet but I was over Dustin's watching it with a couple people. It comes out next month. It kicks ass. If you liked any of the previous three Mischiefs he's done (the original, 3000, or Destroy) definitely keep an eye out for this one.

Btw, I don't believe the roofline is lower than an NSX's, although due to its wider stance and large flat hood area it might look like it is.
