I guess what he's asking is would it be alright if he put a S/C on an auto since his car hasn't gave him any problems yet.

hmmmm... i'm guessing you are concerned about the strain that a supercharger will put on your tranny? From what i've heard it will put some, but the tranny cooler that comes with it (yes?) should keep the temperature lower. Do you have the plenums? thats a bolt on most dont have

Agreed. He just doesn't want his tranny to take a sh!t goin down the freeway. Personally I don't think our glass transmissions are meant to handle even more power but hey, people have proven this wrong too. You're taking a gamble and won't know til it happens. Good luck to ya!

My bad yea that was my question. Im new to this. Yea my cls is covered when i bought it i got the extra coverage on everything. S/C seems to be one of my last up grades other than these plenums. I read that some people have them. where could i read about them. To those who read and reply'd thanks.

What would have to be swapped out to make the auto supercharger work with the 6-speed? Just the shaft and intake adaptor? Can you order just the required parts?

shutup and S/c the bitch! if you have all the other mods there, then it'll do the same shit to your car!! i am a believer that if you abuse the car after the S/c is on then your car will be shitting trannies in 500miles. put the charger on, tune and dont worry! but drive the thing like you are sane thats all you need to do...

i guess a response to this would be why get it if you're not gonna floor it everywhere...

i wonder if all the old woman that drive a CL have the tranny problem. they are not on here so they can't prove my theory, but i bet every cared for acura off this site has had 0 tranny problems...

It's already been proven that how you drive an auto CL or TL has zero bearing on weather your trans dies or not. Granny or trashing doesn't matter.
