programming master key with valet

programming master key with valet

does anyone know if its possible to program a key without the master. i only have the valet key and i would like to program a key that the dealer cut for me. the service dept. wants to chare me $130 to program it. i tried using the valet to program it by turning it on gassing 5 times, braking 6 but it didnt work. if anyone thinks its possible please let me know

Did you follow the directions exactly????

If that didnt work?? Maybe call a honda dealer. I had mine programed (to a completly new ecu) for 40 bucks

The 02 TL keys have the chips in them, I found this but havent tried it yet..let me know if it works for you:

i tried doing that exactly and it still didnt work. ill call a honda dealer and see if they can do it. thanks. if anyone else knows anything let me know i would like to save the $$$$$

thanks for backing me up lol. i think having only the valet key is sorta a unique problem.
