if trying to rev in park, there is a rev limit.

in neutral or park it will not let u get near vtech so yes it won't rev fully if u are not in gear... it's a safety issue or else you may break something while reving it up trying to impress ur friends LOL...

so consider it a good thing

See if the rpms climb over 5 wot.

I also agree with the above comment.
Rev'ing the engine above 5 and not being in gear can cause damage, such as spun rod or crank bearings. Leading to lower end knocking.
The worse time to rev the engine is right after a cold start.Once the oil gets flowing it a little easier on the bearings.

yeah i thought so was just wondering btw the car was warmed up already just double checking. I also have another question i dont want to make another thread so here it goes. Im trying to get new suspension for my car choices are FF type 1, Blackworks, or the Megan EZ street coils. They're all coils but im not too sure of the stiff spring rates on the rear. I had ksports before and the rear was way to stiff for me. I know if im trying to go dumped i have to get the stiff spring rate. Was kind of leaning towards the Megans. Any opinions will help. TIA
