Rotor Screws Missing

Hey guys, I am going to replace my rotors since they're going bad especially the passenger side rotor is loose right now, but the weird thing is that I can't find the rotor screws that the TL DIY calls to remove. I had my tires changed and so I looked at the rotors for the screws, but couldn't find them the holes aren't even there for the screws

any ideas?

The screws are not really neded as the wheel and lugs hold the rotor in place.

See if the rotors will come off.

it's like the rotors never came with the screws from the factory

No big deal. The wheel and caliper holds the rotor on anyway.

its all good....the screw is just there to hold the rotor on during the assembly process at the factory... the rotor screw guy was changing the bit on his drill when urs came by on the line...

You may have some aftermarket rotors from the person who owned the car before you. Either way its no big deal. In fact you're lucky cause sometimes they are hard as hell to get off and ussually need a impact driver to get them off if they are oem.

Don't sweat it.

the two counter sunk screw holes are just for screws to hold the rotors in place during car assembly. The threaded screw holes are there to help you get a rotor free from the hub. Insert bolt of correct thread and tighten it until the rotor pops off the hub. Or do what I do and hit it with a BFH.

you're lucky you dont have the screws, they were a pain to get out. I didn't have an impact driver so I had to drill them out... and it wasn't a 5 minute thing.

Werd. Drilled out the last set and didn't put them back. As others have said, they're only there for assembly at the plant and aren't needed. This is the first vehicle I've owned that's even had them.
