put 15mm spacer on your front and it will clear. My car has the same rim as your CL. The fat 5 spokes right? mine are 17 x 6.5 +55 offset.

he's talking about these:

They are from a 2G TL-S.

Yours are from a 2003 CL-S. Same +55 offset though so if he says +15 works then it should work for your wheels too.

If you bought the calipers for $65 each then you got a great deal they usually cost more and in regards to powdercoating both of those prices you've been quoted are good but just like anything the cheapest isn't always the best.

They sent me the 66 to 64.1mm rings, not the larger ones I requested I kind of gave up on the CL sadly.

I'm glad you posted this cause I realized I put the washer between the caliper and the bracket. Got me an extra 1/4 inch of sweep now lol

can anyone recommend a good quality brake fluid? I read racing fluids, like ATE Blue, absorb water (which of course lowers the boiling point) much faster than OE grade DOT3 fluids and to use Honda DOT 3/4 brake fluid instead or you run the risk of corrosion. What would you do?

I still have the same kind of EBC rotors I used on my CL.

what is everyone with BBK using for a spare tire? a full size 05' TL wheel? Or maybe a stock CL wheel with spacers? I need to buy something, as I feel quite vulnerable driving around knowing my spare tire is useless with my RL calipers.

3G TL 6MT or Type S spare. Check junkyards.

Bonus! Theyre aluminum, and lighter then the CL-S spare.

What are you guys using to rebuild your calipers? OEM or aftermarket? OEM is around $100 for both whereas aftermarket is much cheaper. Would I have an issue going with aftermarket rebuild kits, let's say from Autozone or RockAuto?

Also.. I currently have XXR 522s (19.8.5 +38).. would I need spacers or will these calipers fit fine?

If they don't have a lip and the spokes are pretty concave then they should fit.

Hmm I might pick one up. I was just being cheap and planning to swap a rear wheel to the front and put the spare on the back if one of the front wheels had a flat.

Here are some pics of my RL caliper setup, I had to use a 20mm spacer for my wheels to clear the calipers.

I used SS lines for the CL, so I believe the SS lines for the TL will work with the RL calipers as well.

So it's +23 offset now? Yikes, do you rub in the front? Because I can feel the tire hit the front fender over big bumps with +35 offset.

It does stick out just a bit now but I had no choice, I raised my car up about 1 inch, so it doesn't rub anymore, good thing for coilovers and adjustable dampening
