The pics posted on the tl are for the premium right? Anyone have pics on the s type rims, or know if the rims will look the same as the cl-s.

No they are not the same, they look similar, but not the same... the spoke are not as thick as the CLS.... CLS look fatter, TLS looks more skinny...

I saw a new TL-S at the dealership yesterday and saw it had the EXACT same rims as our Cl-S. I'm not sure if that's always going to be the case, but that's what I saw, so it looks pretty good... THough I think our rims look better on our copues....

Ahhh, I'm in love!

 

It already has been released. They are starting to trickle into the showrooms as we speak. If you look at the pics laser posted, you'll see they were taken at a dealership!!

The wheels are identical for the CL-S and TL-S. Acura is way too cheap to spring for different wheels. They use the same and save $$ with volume discounting from Enkei (the supplier of the wheels). This is one of many reasons why our cars cost $10K less than a BMW.

 

Read Road and Track this month. They could be wrong but Not IMO.

Plus why would acura devlop a rim that looks like our type S but not the same. Come on. IF they use the same rim they can save so much money in production and other stuff. Trust me they have the same rims.

Hey laser go look at some of the 99-00 tl's w/ OUR type S rim. The pics look exactly the same as the 2002's.

Actually, it's not officially released yet. The dealers have them, but they the official Acura release date is March 15th, so they cannot sell them until then. The good news is that tomorrow is the 15th!!

i heard the tl-s rims are 17x6.5 while cl-s rims are 17x7? any truth to this? i'd assume they should be the same...

 

the rims are not the same they are very similar but the tl-s rims are skinier

The TL-S rims are only 6.5" wide..

You'll also notice the TL-S wheels dont have the little dark gray lips that surround the spokes on the CL-S wheels.
