Is the response time on this site slower than usual?

Is it me or is the reponse time really bad here today? Other sites are working well and I am at work cranking on an AT&T T1 line.

Are others experiencing the same problem?

The whole friggin' internet is slow today. I thought it was just my company but MIS says it is overall net congestion. Something about Bush's first business day.

Its just this site. The internet is not whats slow, its the poorly designed networks of a few ISPs.

It has to be the site, I get great speed on all other sites, at first i thought it was a heavy site but then I realized it is slow everywhere, probobly a bad net connection and/or bad ISP on the server side

Okay, let's not gang up on Soopa and his ISP.

Soopa, run some track routes and I think you will see that your ISP, how did someone put it recently, "blows chunks."

I just wanted to make sure that it wasn't me.

The max time I got on a couple of traceroutes were around 31ms on the last couple of legs.

If you guys are having problems, try going to www.dslreports.com and try tracing from there to www.acura-cl.com and then to your own address...

I think there's a lot of Internet traffic due to the capture of the Texas Seven!

I also noticed this at work earlier today.
It just seems to take longer when switching from page to page.
My other favorite sites were running just fine.
I don’t know what the connection is there, but I know it’s a T1 or something faster.

I guess this place is just getting VERY popular.
I’m at home now and it seems to run the same on my 56K.

hehe... fair enough.

If my ISP sucks... my ISP sucks... and I'll simply give em hell... and if it doesnt improve... ive made sure it will be very easy for us to hop onto another server.

dont forget... when the site is slow... it effects me too... so Im with ya guys if the speed "blows chunks".

anyway... lookin good this evening... lets see how it gows during peak hours tomorrow.
