I got mine from the dealer because they had it in-stock and it was competitively priced with competitors. Also, I got a complementary car wash and bottle of watter . The best part is that it comes with a 100 month warranty.

die hard gold in my 03 6mt from sears. I have used these forever and no problems. only other thing I would put on would be a optima red, blue, or yellow top battery. Sears sells them too and can tell you which one fits. STAY AWAY FROM THE FING DEALER. if you cant change the battery yourself you are a girly man! lol!

i'd be more worried about your alternator. alternators are designed to provide a constant stream of current to the battery, not quick transients that bass notes require.

what you really need, regardless of battery, is a cap. rule of thumb is 1F of capacitance per 1000W of amp power.

i have a 1F cap with the stock battery and together they provide plenty power to my amps (~1000W total).

also, browse through the audio forum. good luck.
