Removing mark left by sunroof visor...

I purchased my CL-S last month and the previous owner had removed the sunroof visor. There is now a mark all the way around where the visor used to be. I've tried wax and Meguire's scratch-x. Any ideas on how to get it off?

Its probably scratched all the way through the paint. So that would need a repaint. Mudguards, rain guards and moonroof visors will all do that specially if there left on for 5 years without ever bein taken off and the area cleaned. The dirt just grinds through

Get a sunroof visor and cover it back up?

A repaint is likely the only thing. But you can try some 3m rubbing compound on a buffer or even lightly wetsanding the area

its most likely caused from all the dust accumulation between the visor and the paint. If it's just light scratches in the clear coat it should buff right out anything more it's going to need paint
