Removing ash tray/coin storage

Does anyone know how to remore the coin storage/ash tray?

Mine hesitates when I try to open it! I want to unbend the spring a little to ease up the opening of the tray.

Anyone have any ideas?

Well if it's anything like the TLs coin tray, you have to remove most of the center console.

Dude, I looked but could not locate them!

Are they clearly visible, or are they toward the rear of the coin holder?

Please let me know.

Thanks!

You have to remove the center console and shift consold. The coin holder is attached to the shift console by 4 screws that can only be accessed from the inside and under.
It seems to me like you have some coins stuck. Do what Chod recommended in his FAQs. Give the sides some good whachs ... If you are lucky, the coins will fall out.
