rear bumper removal???
rear bumper removal???
anyone know how to remove and install a rear bumper. backed into a bush this winter stone sober in my own yard. lost some paint but it cracked right below the tailight. need a new one and tryin to figure cheapest way of doin so. searched and didnt find much
its very easy, i pulled it off in about 15 mins just by guessing. i removed the tail lights (bolts in the trunk) and i believe there are some screws under there. climb under the car, theres a bunch of clips that hold it in. theres screws in each of the rear fenders where the bumper meets the rear quarter panel.

is there an easy way to take the clips off without breaking them. i was suprised at the price of new ones for my F250. like $3.50 each
they dry rot and just break. i managed to get off all of my rear bumper tabs except the ones under the car. those were toast! i just use a huge flat head driver to spread the pressure out as much as possible.
