All cars today come from the factory with a FLAT (no shine) basecoat which is the color you see and then a top layer coat called the clearcoat. It provides the shine, UV protection to the colorcoat and the ability to handle abuse and then be restored to like-new gloss. Fine scratches and other no too severe problems can be buffed out or even wet sanded out safely as long as you don't go down too far to the color coat, which again is flat. Waxing potects the clearcoat from the usual stuff: pollution, birds and so forth. With care it will stay very shiny for years. Abused and old clearcoats can look dull.

A heck of alot..Zaino is just a better product. Better chemicals are used so a better final result is also acheived. You get what ya pay for. Turtle Wax is cheap, you do the math. Zaino is a little bit more pricey, but you will love the results, and so will your car!!!

You will DEFINITELY love the results! I'm sure you will find more than half the people in the "galleries" use Zaino. Read more about it at: www.zainobros.com

Here's my CL with Zaino - I think this shot has 11 coats.

Do it! Though you may not think so right now, you'll be much more pleased with the results!
