I noticed something when I start my CL. Usually you turn the key and see all the the ligths on the panel light up, ok that 's normal.

But the funny thing is seeing the transmission indicator on the panel light up the 'P' and 'D5' until the car starts up. Is this normal? SOunds to me like odd.

 

I noticed the same thing! Weird, but you think its just the computer's routine check?? hmmm...now you got me thinkin...

 

i asked the very same question a couple months back...it's normal...it's a diagnostic...nothing to worry bout...unless of course, the D5 light blinks, THEN u're screwed.
