Question on the '03 front grill...

y is that mesh covering the inside portion of the grill???

looks like they got lazy... thats a TL grill.

TL guide looks the same.

my 2002 quick start guide has the same pic...that stuff doesnt exist on the CL..it must be a different car

yeah just checking...besides, what's the point of having it either??? makes no sense...just less air to circulate through the engine bay and keep the engine cool

well, i doubt it restricts any significant airflow...


it is mostly an aesthetic thing id think.


if anything it helps protect the radiator from large flying objects. heh


looks cool when you paint it body color like Robb did tho.

If the lattics is open than no restriction, but if it's closed like the roadlamp piece then hell ya....

looks like thats a 99TL grill:




i would guess that blocked area is either there as a support structure for the grill...

OR it is the guard that keeps people from reaching through to your hood lock, we have one too, but its behind the grill instead of integrated into it.
