K I just got my windows tinted, and finally rolled them up and down they work great. BUT the auto up and down now doesnt work. Any ideas or suggestions?

Yeah there is, I have auto up and down....just ironic that it would happen right after getting my windows done.

 

I thought we only had auto down.

 

Nope thats one feature I liked in the CL that my TL didnt have was the auto up.

 

Only the 03 has auto down & up. Press the window switch all the way down, then hold the switch down for 3 secounds then hold it all the way back up. That's the reset sequence. It should work after that.

Interesting, I didn't know that the 03's had the auto up... I have added to my database of a great wealth of CL knowledge.

 

Ah you know your calling your closest acura dealer asking for the parts department to order yourself a 2003 Acura CL Type-S drivers side window switch...lol

 

Its not that easy. The 03 also has a sensor in the door so if the window hits something like your hand on the way up it will go back down.

P.S. Auto up is great Although I didn't know that the 01/02 didn't have that

i was in a 03 TL today and it had the auto up like my 03 CL

 

gay that it's only one side though. Why not make it a passenger side option too? grrr

 

Those damn safety enginners didn't have ENOUGH booze the night before they thought of that idea...

 

Ya tell me about it. My bros car, all 4 windows are auto up and down. It's like you cheap bastards. Just like in my TL, my drivers seat was power, the passenger wasnt.......
