I took pictures of your rims, but I can't find them now. Yes, they are scratched to hell. Given the situation though, it could have been a lot worse.

 

some buddys of mine, and i , were doing some filming, kinda like BMWfilms. well, we were on the final chase scene, and it started to rain really bad. i turned off my VSA to do a fat burn out, didnt turn it back on, and when i came to the final 90 degree turn going somewhat fast, i took the turn too wide (because no VSA to help me) and WHAM, i nailed the curb. no body damage whatsoever, just hit both right side wheels really hard on the curb.

here is a pic of the side view of my car. you can see how the right wheels got bent at a 45 degree angle. the damage was much worse to the suspension. the front two crossmembers AND the rear crossmember got bent every so slightly where the lower control arms are bolted on to them. so they had to replace all three crossmembers, and all the right side suspension. $4700 in total (i only paid my deductable)

but damn, you get so used to driving with VSA on, that when you turn it off, you cant turn quite as good oh well, my car is back to normal and is ABSOLUTELY perfect once again!

who remembers that black cl that had the front rims shattered.?

 

I know it says scratched rims and it's not 1/2 as bad as the other 2 but here is mine.

 

are you referring to mine? i posted the pics above of course. they did shatter pretty bad

 

I got these off honda-acura.net a while back,...

These were a set of ADR rims as well,...that sort of tells the quality of those rims.

 

Now that is a failure if I ever saw one. Guess we all want to stay far, far away from those.

 

Ouch those rims need help big time!
