for the people in houston, last week I was driving on 59 north and I saw an Acura Legend 2 dr coup which was converted to be a convertible. It looked nice, then it got me thinking, how would our cls look?? what do you think?? (maybe like the lexus sc430??)

I know someone that did it to their accord for 6k. It looks hot and i think its worth the money. Just have to go to a reputable place.

WOW!!! I love it! Thanks for posting the pic whether it's real or fake. I know that down in Ft. Lauderdale, FL there was a place that did this to cars years ago. Don't know if they're still there or not. It's funny that this topic came up today because when I was out this afternoon and saw several Toyota Solara convertibles and Chrysler Sebring ones, I thought about a CL-S convertible. How hard could it be?

On the technical side, converting a car to a convertable, how are you going to maintain the rigidity of the car?? You going to get massive body roll... Correct me if I'm wrong.

Hey Acura dosn't have a convertible. The NSX isn't really a convertible. Its an interesting thought. I think it would look good. I could see Acura selling alot of them. A stylish 4 person lux covertible. Unlike S2000 which only holds 2. The CL would be more practicle than the S2000 is. It would be a 3 seris convertible rival. Not to many 4 person lux-performance convertibles to rival it, the only one I can think of is the 3 seris. Did I miss any?

well i dont recommend ppl to convert a CL-s to a convertible..... since it s not made FOR convertible. once u get it.. ur gonna see A LOT Of PROBLEMS such as Leaking... etc.. Trust me it s pain in the ass..
my friend has a new beetle.. and she bought it before the convertible came out and she converted hers to a convertible... she ended up selling her car for all the problems...
