With all the talk lately of taillight tinting and such.... can someone chop me what it would look like if I tint

1. The top portion of the lights
and
2. The whole lights...

I'm just curious as to how it would look on abp... i'm not expecting anything awesome.

I know it's weak, but maybe that will help.

 

Just a quick photoshop job, hopefully it'll give you some idea of what it will look like. Personally, if there was some way to do the smoked tails, I'd do that, they look kinda hot! Anyway...

*If you tint you probably won't be able to see the clear reverse light inset... I'm not sure, It looks nicer showing a little, so I left it there.

 

Those are hot! I'm not sure which ones I like better! I like them all! The middle one is a cool idea to make them look like '03 tails though.

What about a photochop of the 03 tails with just the red tinted? Thinking about doing this on mine.

Anyone know where to get tint simlilar to what CCC used to have (out of stock)? It was more stretchable and thicker than standard window tint.

 

I think there's someone on the boards right now w/ an SSM with tinted tops. Someone photoshopped a white on top and smoked bottom (red) on it. Looked pretty sweet.

I think we an go to rockblocker for the tint.

 

I'm REALLY thinking about taking my '01 taillights and smoking/tinting the top portion (a la '03 taillight style). Still can't decide.

I would imagine though that it would look closer to what o2cls posted up...
