Pedals for Six Speeder M/T
Pedals for Six Speeder M/T
I've been very slowly shopping for pedals for a while now. I have not found a set that I've really liked except the Mugen, but for $175 - $200 I've kept away.
I just discovered this site via eBay. They seem to make nice pedals for the RSX, ITR, and NSX (and others). These are not covers, but a permanent replacement for the rubber pedals. I like the matte finish, and given the price of Mugen, $75-100 seems OK.
I just emailed these guys to see if they're developing a CL Type S (six speed) application. It also seems like they're set up to do custom work -- click on tech>pedal template instructions.
Thoughts?

From their site -- these replace the rubber brake & clutch and bolt onto the pedal metal. You need to drill holes and bolt them on. They even recommend loctite -- they're not fooling around here. The gas pedal screws into the rubber with a self tapping screw.
NSXNEXT -- I got a similar response from them. They have not made a CL set yet -- I'm going to measure out my pedals later this week for a template.
I tired a few of the clamp on types. Nothing wrong with the good ones. I wouldn't want to drill though my factory pedals. I also am looking for ones that have rubber inserts. Not just a plastic "non slip" piece, or 1 little piece of rubber. These do nothing when I have wet shoes. I had a really nice set when I had the auto, but they aren't made anymore.

I actually don't mind bolting them one -- I replaced my factory rubber pedals on my Integra twice in the 150K miles or so that I owned her. The rubber wears, especially on the clutch pedal. I think one set of metal pedals permanently mounted will more then pay for itself in the long run. If they work, I'm never taking them off anyway.

Here's a pic of our stock pedals with the dimensions that I measures from a template. Nice dirt, huh?

How many times do you have to be an ASSHOLE before you go play somewhere else? If we wanted your opinion slapnuts, we'd beat it out of you. Now go play nice with all the other rednecks driving pickemup trucks in Wiscaaansin.
Yeah I'm down for a group buy too.

Your supposed to say "if I wanted any lip from you I would take it off my zipper"

Here you are, Jake. Please let me know the correct dead pedal orientation.
Thanks,
Jeff
