From the web site, the RSX set is $75 for the Plain CNC Machine Finish Set and $100 for the Matte Finish Set. I would assume list prices will be similar for the CL-S Manual set.

Yes, it sure looks like that. I think it's acutually mostly dead grass and not wood chips. I did eventually vacuum it out.

I got my email from Tony & Jeff at Autovation too. It took them a while to make it, but I agree, this is one nice looking product. And even at $100, it's still 1/3 the price of the Mugen set (which is the only other set that I've liked). bullacula

Looks good Slimey!and it comes with a dead pedal!
I would buy that set, but I just couldn't wait that long. I just may buy one of those pedals cause they look smooth. The mugens are too way rough for heel toe braking.

Good point.... So, how will the TYPE-S one attach??
How did you attach your beautiful MUGEN GAS PEDAL?... just drive some screws into it?

Here are their instructions. The accerator and dead pedal screw into the rubber. The brake and clutch bolt through the metal after you drill it.

Do you know how hard it will be to drill holes through the stock metal plate under the rubber pedal? and then drive screws through the dead pedal? no thanks. putting four screws into the easily replaceable stock gas pedal with the mugen kit was bad enough. its pretty hard to work under there. you're gonna have to find some way to hold the metal plate still while drilling. I'll post pics.

The metal pedals for the clutch and brake will be tough... but the dead pedal and gas won't be a problem... there are pilot holes in the new pedals.

How did you put on your MUGEN gas pedal... just screw screws in the rubber/plastic?

I figure that I can stabilize the pedals with a piece of wood while drilling. We'll see how it goes.

yeah, I just put four screws in. no need for pilot holes. It was easy, but I just didn't like putting the screws in the pedal. and it will be easy to drill the dead pedal, but isn't it part of the floor? what is underneath the dead pedal? what if you go through? I know you probably won,t take it off and go back to stock, but it is something to consider. I cant even find my stock rubber pedals anyway. look back here for more pics.

These just clamp on the metal plate.

Here is the stock plate under the rubber pedal.

Here is the back of the mugen pedal you can tell why they cost soo much more. the stock metal plate fits perfectly in there. just some foam tape and two bolts. easy to take off, but very solid!

Screws through gas pedal. the screws that came with pedals were too long and would have come out the back, luckily I have a full shop in my garage and had some S/S screws that were perfect length

Justified expense! you get what you pay for.
and yes, they DON"T help my E.T.

i think I am just going to do the brake and clutch... if someone wants the rest of the set I will split the cost.

Damn......Those pedals look hella tight. Im in for sure for the group buy. Hey, I was wondering, would they be able to make the "Type S" in RED? I think that would look bad ass, it would match the door sills! But, I think it might be had to do that, since the paint might come off. Anyhow, it was just a thought. If its possible, let me know. Thanks....keep me posted on the start date for the group buy.

In looking at their site, it doesn't look like any of their products are painted. I'm sure you can ask them though.

Personally, I like the matte look without any paint. I would suppose that the paint would wear off pretty quickly anyway.

Hey Slimey,
thanks for replying so quickly......I figured that they don't paint them because of that problem. Anyhow, keep me posted with pics after you installed them and when the group buy starts.
