Painted rims?

Hey what up. I currently have these rims that are gunmetal with the chrome lip. My car itself is PDG, so I was wondering if anyone thinks having the same color of my car (PDG) painted over the gunmetal looks better or just gunmetal is fine. I dont want to "kill" the car because honestly right now its straight, but then again, matching colored rims to the car, depends on what car, looks sick. This shop is only going to charge me 25.00 a wheel to do everything.

i think that gunmetal and black have been overused already. i did black on black on my integra in the early nineties and i painted my stockies on my cl black. i kinda wish i hadnt even though it looks good. anyway what i am trying to say is that painting your wheels the same color as the car and leaving like a chrome or polished lip, might be a good move.

Yea do it, I dont think it would be overkill. It will have the euro look. The Benz AMG used to always match their rims with the body of the car, and it always came out clean. Also, its easy to change back if you dont like the results.

Just do the lip

I'm thinking about doing my stockies in a gunmetal color like these, but maybe a little lighter.

^ I don't know about doing just the lip. Half the reason that car looks good is because it's rolling on Kinesis wheels with a step lip.

For $100 all the way around, I think you should go for it! AND POST PICS!!!

Worst case scenario, it won't look right and you'll have to do another finish and spend another $100 to go a different color. Worth it IMHO. I'd try it.

WAAAAIIIITTTTAMINUTE!!! What kind of wheels are they? Again...
