winsheild wiper arm

winsheild wiper arm

Hey anyone ever had their winshield wiper broke. One wiper is going up the other wont even move, how easy is it to fix, I would like to this myself if possible. Any responses would be helpfull.

Wiper motor? Relay? Could be lots of things.

u also may have a loose nut where the arm is bolted on, check it out

I had a a 1976 TR7 that had that problem--but everything else on the car was loose too. The door even fell off!!!

Ok i checked it out, are there two separate motors? or just one for both wipers? The nut was loose, i tightened it and nothing happend lol.

remove both wiper arms and cowl panel. inspect the wiper arm connecting rod
i think it came off or its worn out...

I had the exact same problem and had to tighten the nut REALLY TIGHT before the wiper started working again.
