P2R J Series Race Car Build
I made mention to my J series race cars, multiple times in my post, but never really give much details on my car or setup.
So I figured I would start a thread and give you guys some more insight on my two builds. Yes I did say to builds. I have two races cars that will be rocking J series engines.
You all know my J30 Civic
This car is turbo and is currently on 10 psi.
404 Hp & 442 Tq.
This car is actually not turbo anymore and will be a Naturally Aspirated setup instead. The reason for taking the turbo off is because we are actually going to be racing the car in NOPI Pro Stock class. Our goal is to hit 4-5 NOPI events in 2008. We are hoping to be highly competitive in the series. We will also be racing the car in the Florida Battle of the Imports event (Orlando FL)
The second car that we have with a J series is a 99 Accord. This car will actually be a road race car, and we will be racing in in NASA & SCCA. I will give you guys more details on this car in later threads.
We are using a 06 TL tranny with LSD on the accord. We did a lot of work to get the accord lighter. Car felt like a heavy tank at first, but now it feels fairly light compared to how it was originally. We got all the tar off the flooring, Removed all unnecessary parts, etc.
Well here are some pictures of the new intake manifold for the civic

Cool dude, what made you go with the 06 TL 6MT over the 03 CLS 6MT which is virtually the same?
Haha the CL is heavy so it needs to save weight anywhere it can!

Was on street tires, so it spins like crazy.
Here are some new pictures of my EF. Local place called Sport Compact Miami took some pictures of the car, and did a little article. You can check out the article here.
