I have an injen and love it. No resonance or anything just nice sound and power. In terms of HP gains they will be the same for all intents and purposes. Some people have had bad luck with the AEM mounts breaking...

AEM V2 might give you an extra HP or 2 - not sure if anyone has one and dyno'd it.

Also look at the Comptech Icebox. It's not as loud if your going for sound, but supposedly gives an extra 2 hp or so.

All this has been covered repeatedly so try searching.

I have always read there no performance or sound difference between them.
V2 is not made for a Type S.

I like the quality and fitment of the Injen. Although I prefer the AEM dry flow filter. My intake is a hybrid. lol
